Genuine sturgeon caviar in Soberbia Luxury cream!
Caviar (1)

It was always clear to me that it had to be sturgeon roe from the Caspian Sea.

Originally from the Caspian Sea and endangered for decades, the sturgeon (Acipenser) caviar I use for my formulas comes from fish farms in Europe.

Many types of fish roe (lumpfish, salmon, cod) are used both in gastronomy and cosmetics.

They appear in the ingredient lists as “roe extract” or “ovum piscum”, all of which are low-cost caviar substitutes that are clearly inferior to the benefits that real caviar brings to our skin.

Some cosmetic brands market these substitutes as real caviar, but nothing could be further from the truth. None of them is as beneficial to the skin as female sturgeon caviar extract.

I selected this active ingredient for its nourishing powers. Caviar is the active ingredient in my formula that contains the highest doses of essential fatty acids. These fatty acids work perfectly on mature or damaged skin in need of high doses of nutrients, providing it with amino acids, mineral salts, trace elements and vitamins.

In other words, it is an indispensable active ingredient for high quality cosmetic creams – if it really comes from sturgeon, of course!

Welcome to the extraordinary journey I undertook in 2008, a 5-year walk around the world to complete a very personal and ambitious project: a relentless search for the most extraordinary ingredients on our planet to create a sublime and exceptional formula. I would like to share my experience, my adventures, my successes and also  my failures.
