Salt lamps in the Soberbia formula!
Diseño sin título (12)

Himalayan salt water.

This salt is more than 200 million years old, from when the highest mountains on the planet were beneath the ocean.

It still retains all the properties of the Earth and its pink colour is due to its high iron content.

It is without doubt a very important active ingredient in the Soberbia formula, selected for its high trace element and mineral contents: potassium, magnesium, iron, copper, calcium, phosphorus, zinc and sulphur.

I came up with something that had never been done before in cosmetics: to use this salt as a soluble active ingredient in the formula instead of in its solid form. In other words, to transform the salt back to its original state while preserving all of its properties.

The objective is very clear: immediate remineralisation (energy) of the epidermis, softness and hydration. It is also very effective against psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, and sunspots.

I like to say that this newly re-dissolved salt in the cream has properties that have yet to be discovered, with its more than 85 different trace elements and minerals.

It is without doubt a marvel of nature and of our planet’s history.

Due to the limited availability and high demand for real Himalayan pink salt, most of the salts marketed under that name do not really come from the Himalayas and are not authentic.

It was difficult to verify the exact origin of the salt we were allowed to import, so I decided that to ensure the purity and source, I would import processed products made from genuine Himalayan salt.

In Pakistan, on the edge of the Himalayas, there are small shops that make all kinds of handicrafts from pure pink Himalayan salt, such as small lamps that tourists buy as souvenirs.

We import lamps made of Himalayan pink salt from traders. Once we have them in our laboratory, we micropulverise the salt to make it soluble together with the rest of the formula’s active ingredients.

Did you know that the properties of this kind of salt were discovered in the west thanks to the horses of Alexander the Great, which used to approach rocks to lick them?

Welcome to the extraordinary journey I undertook in 2008, a 5-year walk around the world to complete a very personal and ambitious project: a relentless search for the most extraordinary ingredients on our planet to create a sublime and exceptional formula. I would like to share my experience, my adventures, my successes and also  my failures.
