Very low molecular weight hyaluronic acid

In the same way that I designed the Soberbia Luxury formula without limiting the number of ingredients, as long as they provide different benefits for the skin, I also wanted to add several active ingredients with the same objective, as long as they were complementary and even more so if it was for something as important as tightening the skin – creating a “facelift”. 

That’s why we have snake venom that slows down, puts to sleep or partially paralyses the muscle movements that lead to expression lines and wrinkles, which reduces their formation and makes them less noticeable. 

And it’s why we also have very low molecular weight hyaluronic acid that acts like an inflating sponge, absorbing all the lipids and excess water from certain areas of the skin such as on double chins.

As it inflates and swells by absorbing these lipids, it tightens the skin, which in turn reduces the depth and severity of expression lines.

Initially, hyaluronic acid was extracted from the crests of cockerels, but it is now manufactured by biotechnological synthesis in laboratories.

Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide, a proteoglycan that acts mainly in the skin and connective tissues such as cartilage, helping these tissues to remain elastic.

A simile to understand its function would be to think of it like oil or grease in an engine, a lubricant.

With age, human beings produce less hyaluronic acid, which is why the skin dries out and simultaneously loses elasticity, causing expression lines and wrinkles.

By supplying it topically through the Soberbia Luxury formula, we counteract the effect of the decrease in hyaluronic acid due to ageing. 

We have selected hyaluronic acid with the lowest molecular weight on the market for its better penetration into the skin; otherwise, it would remain on the outside as if it were glue.

I use a high percentage of this acid in my formula because I realised that once this ingredient had done its job of distributing the necessary amount of water through the skin – for proper functioning and elasticity (lubrication) – it concentrated the excess in those areas where we had applied it, which had a sponge effect that also tightened the skin. That is to say, by gathering all the excess liquid from the skin, it swelled like a sponge and tightened the skin around the wrinkle, creating a natural facelift.

In other words, it fulfils two objectives: it retains large quantities of water and distributes them to the areas of the skin that need it (hydration) and it has a tightening effect.

By adding to all this the fantastic effects of the co-peptide that imitates snake venom, I have created the perfect facelift.
